04070 "The Giving Tree" 8x10
The Hospice Giving Tree is adorned every Christmas and one beautiful afternoon it was especially striking as the light became more intense and the shadows filled with drama. I did a quick sketch, made some color notes on watercolor paper of the blue spruce and shadows through fence posts, etc. This is a small piece and so I took care with regard to the strong negative shapes, the landscape surrounding the tree and especially the bows, tags and angels that indicated donor participation. This piece also took an award for a holiday event.

Prints:
Giclee' prints of artwork are printed onto 350GSM archival inkjet canvas; 140# watercolor paper or enhanced matt archival paper with archival inks.

Shipping information:
Oil paintings are shipped on stretcher but unframed (framing is optional, call for details), professionally packaged, insured and shipped via the most cost effective method.
