A visit to a neighboring area amidst rolling hills and early morning atmosphere with new and old vines preparing for their winter’s sleep brought forth this work. Lush greens of the trees balanced the gold and burgundy of the waning vineyard. The misty atmosphere brailed the far hillside and crept up the hollow this painting represents the quiet time of autumn with harvest in the barrel and good wine coming.
