Our area has an abundance of mountains, streams and locations but this site gave me a fresh view of the landscape and its atmosphere. A more generous space, a longer look into the distance and a different proximity to the mountain gave me a new look at the summer meadow in front of me. The mountain was losing its snow cap, the grasses were turning yellow and the stream receded from its spring exuberance, they all came together in this painting.
