Hidden amidst our mountain canyons are beautiful painting places such as this lake where the music of the morning dictates the mood of the painting. Small studies were done here, notes and sketches imprinted the mood and atmosphere, my camera recorded what it could and at home in studio it all came together to describe this quiet visit and contemplative message. This is a "get-away-place" painting.
