A visit back to France and its charming villages inspired this simple painting which focuses on the window, its architecture and the wonderful flowers that so often spill from their window sills. The aged stone accented by the smooth plastered window surround and its architectural accent drew me to paint it. The gentle colors of French yellow and blue give a friendly invite to passersby. The open window invites a wave and a "bon jour!"

Giclee' prints of artwork are printed onto 350GSM archival inkjet canvas; 140# watercolor paper or enhanced matt archival paper with archival inks.
