Blue Lavender III

Fields below Mt. Shasta are spectacular when the lavender blooms and the aroma of acres of flowers fill the air. I have visited many times and enjoyed the people strolling through the fields, filling their baskets. In this painting I was captivated by the abstract design of the mountain’s shoulders above the dynamic thrust of the lavender rows. (18"x18")
