    Sharing an appreciation for nature, life and making fine art and photography has brought many rewards. These experiences brought about the wonderful Heilman® art boxes that are enjoyed all around the world. John’s gift of creativity in fine woodworking coupled with his love of precise engineering and tenacity for quality and good function has made the process of making art easier for artists of every level and discipline. As an artist working in studio, workshop and en-plein air I experienced and took careful note of challenges encountered by myself and fellow artists. »Oil box panel storage holds two 9" × 12" ×.25" or 12" × 16" × .25" panels or boards for safe transport. The clear lexon plastic palette cleans easily and is removable. The palette lid is fitted with a neoprene gasket to help paint stay wet between painting locations.
	« The Oil box features a hardy handle, lockable latches, and durable shoulder strap for ease of use and portability. Shoulder straps included.
» The Oil Box allows for storage of paint tubes (large or small), painting medium, containers, up to 12" brushes, palette knives, and small sketch books.
	« All Heilman Art Boxes are ready to use with the Heilman Easel. Palette lid with neoprene gasket keeps oils wet between painting locations.
» Sturdy turn-keys secure lids and remain positioned when box encounters vibration or rough travel.
	« Side latches hold box as a solid unit when open.
» All boxes are fitted with a standard tripod coupler which is embedded and glued for strength and stability.
	« Tripod coupler is glued and counter sunk into box frame; leveling plate is glued to allow fit for tripod quick release.
